Finish a challenge (Sponsor)

Ending a challenge is the Sponsor's job.

  • Ending a challenge is the Sponsor’s job.

  • The Sponsor taps “Finish challenge” from the challenge detail screen to end it.

  • Sending the end-of-challenge transaction to the blockchain incurs a gas fee.

  • The Sponsor can send the end-of-challenge transaction between 3 and 90 days after the challenge period ends. From day 91 onward, the challenge can no longer be ended and the commitment deposit cannot be withdrawn from the smart contract.

  1. When a challenge you sponsor ends, you’ll get a push notification — tap the notification icon.

  1. A notification arrives: “The challenge period has ended. You can finish the challenge between YYYY/MM/DD and YYYY/MM/DD.” Tap the notification.

  1. The challenge detail screen opens.

  2. Tap “Finish challenge” to end the challenge.

  • The challenge is finished.

  • Per the challenge settings, the commitment deposit is distributed to the Sponsor, Challenger, and Receiver.
