We've redesigned the website

The ESPL official site has been redesigned end-to-end. With "Reasons to walk, by design." as the concept, the page-by-page explanations and vocabulary across the site have been unified.

What’s new

The ESPL official site ( https://espl.jp/ ) has been redesigned end-to-end.

  • New tagline: “Reasons to walk, by design.”
  • The descriptions and terminology for “Walker / Sponsor / sponsorship / Receiver” are now unified across every page — top, mechanism, JPYC, how-to-use, and the first-time-user entry.
  • The three behavioral-economics mechanisms (loss aversion, commitment, altruism) are restructured to be easier to read.
  • A new “Who it fits” section adds story-style profiles for five personas.
  • “The app is free. Only small actual costs apply.” — the cost structure (sponsorship, gas) is now disclosed transparently.
  • Articles and News surfaces are newly added.

We’ll publish monitor recruitments, new-feature releases, and maintenance information from this page going forward.
