AI-assisted planning
AI drafts the challenge. People decide what happens.
We are testing whether AI can help teams prepare walking challenge proposals. The work is at the design and proof-of-concept stage. It is not a production system in which an AI acts as an autonomous sponsor.
What AI may propose
- Draft a challenge goal, period, and participation conditions
- Suggest participant-facing explanations and reminders
- Flag missing information, inconsistent terms, or unusually high burden
- Summarize pilot results for human review
- Propose revisions for a later pilot
A named person remains responsible for checking facts, feasibility, participant burden, accessibility, privacy, and wording before anything is used.
Money stays under human control
If a draft includes a reward, commitment deposit, JPYC allocation, or recipient, the AI is only proposing terms. The person or authorized sponsor checks the amount, conditions, recipient, network, fees, and legal treatment, then initiates any wallet action themselves.
We do not describe an AI autonomously funding or deploying a challenge as the operating model for this pilot.
Controls to test
- Named owner and purpose
- Human review before publication
- Human approval and initiation of every funds action
- Participant opt-in and a way to stop
- Minimum necessary data
- Access, change, and audit logs
What a pilot should measure
A pilot should record whether the draft was useful, how much human correction it required, what participants understood, and whether any proposal introduced unnecessary pressure or risk. Participation and step outcomes are secondary to verifying the process safely.
What this does not include
- Development of a production AI agent
- Smart-contract implementation or audit
- Procurement, custody, or transfer of crypto-assets
- Final legal, tax, medical, or security decisions
- A guarantee of participation, adherence, health outcomes, or commercial results
